NEW YEAR'S WISH: ABOLISH THAI CULTURE MINISTRY

THINGS TO SEE AND READ

1.WHEN SHE GOT LOST IN HISTORY (2007, Filmsick)

WHEN SHE GOT LOST IN HISTORY is the third film I saw this year which makes great use of ancient ruins in Thailand. The other two films are CITY OF ANGELS (1983, Marina Abramovic + Ulay, A+) and the film which is used as background to the stage performance “NO TRANSLATION” (2007, Terry Hatfield, A). I think the latter film is shot by Taiki Sakpisit.

2.Mike Dekalb’s reviews of SOMBRE

3.A Thai article on Werner Schroeter

4.I have made a New Year’s wish at Matthew Hunt’s blog. My wish is that the Thai Culture Ministry is abolished forever.
