THE DARDOS AWARD

I can’t describe how glad I am to be awarded a Dardos by Peter Nellhaus from http://www.coffeecoffeeandmorecoffee.com/ . Here is an information about this award:

“The Dardos Award is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.”

Dardos winners must do the following:

1) Accept the award by posting it on your blog along with the name of the person who has granted the award and a link to his/her blog.

2) Pass the award to another five blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgement, remembering to contact each of them to let them know they have been selected for this award.

--I would like to pass the Dardos award to these five blogs, in alphabetical order:

1.FILMSICK (in Thai language)
http://filmsick.exteen.com/

His blog is surely my most favorite Thai blog. Filmsick just wrote about his favorite films of 2008. You can read his three-part list at:
http://filmsick.exteen.com/20090102/entry
http://filmsick.exteen.com/20090103/2551-2-dvd

2.INVISIBLE CINEMA by Jennifer MacMillan
http://invisiblecinema.typepad.com/

Like Filmsick, Jennifer is also both bloggers and short filmmakers. As for now Jennifer may not write about experimental films as much as before, but I still enjoy many pieces of inspirational writing or inspirational quotes in her blog. I think I am a very pessimistic person, but her blog can really help me from becoming too pessimistic about the world we live in.

3.LAUGHABLE LOVES (in Thai language)
http://laughable-loves.blogspot.com/

Though I don’t have time to read books or novels anymore, I can’t stop reading book reviews in this blog.

4.MERVEILLESXX (in Thai language)
http://www.bloggang.com/mainblog.php?id=merveillesxx

Merveillesxx has written less and less about films in his blog during the past year, because he now writes for some magazines. But I still enjoy his blog a lot, because he has posted a lot of photos from galleries around Bangkok in his blog. You can go straight to the gallery section in his blog at:
http://www.bloggang.com/viewdiary.php?id=merveillesxx&group=9

5.OGGS' MOVIE THOUGHTS (LESSONS FROM THE SCHOOL OF INATTENTION)
http://oggsmoggs.blogspot.com/

I have become very interested in Philippine cinema during the past few years. Reading this blog by Oggs Cruz can quench my thirst for information about Philippine cinema, which I think is one of the most interesting cinemas in the world nowadays.
