SOMETHING IN COMMON

IN APRIL THE FOLLOWING YEAR, THERE WAS A FIRE (2012, Wichanon Somumjarn, A+10), MILK (2008, Semih Kaplanoglu, A+10), and PHANTOM LOVE (2007, Nina Menkes, A+30) share one thing in common. What is it?

All of these three films are inspired by MIRROR (1974, Andrei Tarkovsky).

There is one character I can totally identify myself with in IN APRIL THE FOLLOWING YEAR, THERE WAS A FIRE. It's the character played by Machima Ungsriwong, if I understand it correctly. (I apologize in advance if I misunderstand it. I'm not sure if Machima plays that character or not.) It's funny for me, because I can also identify myself a little bit with Machima's character in the film FLUSH TANK (น้าโอมอยากมีผัว) (2011, Tossaphon Riantong).
