DVD WISH LIST: ROOTS (1977, 600 min)
I like DJANGO UNCHAINED (A+30) very much. It helps me understand
how severe the problems of slavery were. It unintentionally helps me understand
the situation portrayed in LINCOLN (2012, Steven Spielberg, A+10). I haven’t
seen many films about slavery. I remember that the TV series ROOTS (1977) was
very famous when I was young, but I was too young at that time and couldn’t
remember anything about this TV series, though I might have seen some parts of
it.
